We often hear that patients cannot get appointments, but often patients fail to act on requests for them to book annual reviews, health checks and blood tests. All of these appointments are opportunities to be screened and should anything be untoward, to carry out further investigations. We ask patients not to ignore important requests, they are designed to help you.
We also get a large number of appointments where patients fail to attend. Please be mindful that these are appointments someone could have on a day. They are often health reviews or blood tests, and should never be put off. We have a cancellation selection on our answer phone system where you can leave message. So please call and cancel appointments they can be quickly used for patients on a waiting list.
